Messages are counted per turn: your message plus their reply. Spoken replies are separate from text. Their feed is what they post about their own day. Export sends a JSON file of your conversations, memories and profile, and every plan has it. When you downgrade, older memory is archived rather than deleted — upgrading brings it back.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

Monthly or yearly

Yearly billing is 12 months for the price of 10 — the discount is built into the annual price, not a limited-time coupon. You can switch plans at any time; the change applies from the next billing period.

Cancel whenever you want

Cancel in Settings → Subscription, or through the Paddle portal linked there. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you already paid for; after that it returns to Free automatically.

Refunds

Your first subscription can be refunded in full within 14 days if you have used 20 conversation turns or fewer. Yearly plans may be partly refunded after that at our discretion. The exact rules are in the Refund policy.

What does not change when you downgrade

Nothing is deleted. Memories older than your new window are archived rather than removed — they just stop being brought up first. If you upgrade again, they come back.

Quick answers

Is the free plan really free?

Yes. All characters are open, you get 50 messages a day, and we do not ask for a card. There is no countdown that quietly locks the app.

Do I lose memories if I stop paying?

No. They are archived, not deleted. When you come back — on any plan — the old thread is still there; the character just may not lead with it.

Can I use the app without a subscription?

Yes, permanently. Paid plans are about volume, voice and how far back they can recall, not about access to people.
